Official: Hyper Scape will be released with PS5 and Xbox Series X
The Ubisoft video game will not miss the appointment of the new consoles and will have its own version since its release; just like others in the company.
Hyper Scape will have its own version at the launch of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Jean-Christophe Guyot, creative director of the new multiplayer free to play bet under the battle royale genre of Ubisoft, has confirmed in a meeting with SegmentNext that his new proposal will be ready for the release of the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
“Hyper Scape will be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 from the launch of the new consoles; It will be the same version as those available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 ”, he anticipates. In this way, any technical improvements as a result of the high capacities of the new generation hardware will be requested. “We are currently working on developing specific characteristics for the next gene. Given the high pace of the game, we always prioritize responsiveness and framerate. “
After the technical demo that we were able to test on PC weeks ago, these are the minimum technical specifications to run Hyper Scape in 1080p and 60 FPS, acceptable even for the current generation. Hopefully, though, the 4K resolution and 60 FPS combo is its primary focus. The launch of Hyper Scape in its full version on PS4, Xbox One, and PC is yet to be confirmed, but it will be sometime this summer.
Other Ubisoft games, also launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X
In the absence of knowing the exact launch catalog of PS5 and Xbox Series X, where we only have some names like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Astro’s Playroom or Halo Infinite in terms of exclusives, respectively, we do know that Ubisoft has committed to launch in 2020 the adapted versions – not necessarily improved from day one – of their main productions for this last quarter.
We are referring to Watch Dogs Legion, which will be released on October 29 in the current generation, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, on November 17. Both titles can be played for free on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X if we buy the current generation version. The patches that will adapt and update two titles to take advantage of new generation hardware will be ready “later”.
